Starting from January Up to September 2019: Over 2600 Foreigner Obtained Turkish Citizenship

The sales in 2019 reached up to 27,748 property that sold to foreigners.

Investments with Turkish Citizenship

Directorate of the Civil Status announced that over 2600 foreign investors obtained Citizenship in Turkey during the first eight months of 2019.  After decreasing the conditional value of property price that allows the owner to have Turkish citizenship from 500,000$ down to 250,000$, foreign investors took it as a chance to invest and settle in Turkey

Nationalities from all over the world now are applying for Turkish Citizenship From Arabs, Asians, Europeans, and Americans.

  • As Always Iraqis are at the top of the list with the obtainment of 320 citizenship
  • Second, are the Afghans with 240 citizenship
  • Third comes the Palestinians with 210 citizenship
  • Fourth Egyptians with over 100 citizenship
  • Libyans come the Fifth with 65 citizenship

Within the same law, another amendment proclaims:

”A foreign investor is entitled to acquire Turkish citizenship if he buys it after the date of the announcement amendment. The investor can buy a property owned by a Turkish person or company, even if the former owner is a foreigner”.
